This past week I was at a loss of what to write about. I think I got consumed with Facebook. So...now back at it.

Today we have something about weddings.

I am always looking for unique items but who has a huge storage vault for it all?

Vintage Wedding

A way in which to be eco-friendly is to use vintage, reused, or re-purposed items.

Below are a couple vintage garments that are from 1910 to 1940. Each one is timeless and can be used as is or modified to fit your style.

Dress up a simple dress with this jacket from 1910.

This dress is a great alternative to the traditional white wedding dress.

You can't go wrong with Ostrich feathers. So glam.

This 1940's gown from Etsy is a steal. Wear as is or modify it for a more modern look.

Paper Flowers

I have been doing some experimentation with paper flowers this week and have some eye candy to show. The paper I used is vintage wallpaper and I plan to find some other vintage materials to use and expand on these flowers in the future, so stay tuned.
